2013 White House Weatherization Event | Washington, DC

Weatherization Drives New Technology and the Home Performance Industry, the White House event hosted by NASCSP on December 9th, demonstrated WAP's technical innovations, leadership in the home performance industry, and role as a go-to partner for utility and other partnership projects. For those in attendance as well as those who watched from afar via live stream, we thank you. The event generated more than 700 Twitter messages on the 9th alone, as well as media coverage.

Here is a link from the White House website, sharing supporting remarks from Dr. David Danielson, the Assistant Secretary of Energy.

The event provided information from a number of panels and the full event recording has been captured as two recordings: Part 1
| Part 2 (forthcoming). NASCSP is continuing to advocate for WAP to key legislators and will keep you informed about progress. Please feel free to share information and links with our network.

A special thanks to the presenters, who battled the elements in traveling to Washington, DC from all over the country, to help us showcase the successes of the Weatherization Assistance Program. Their dedication to attend demonstrates their conviction and commitment to tell the Weatherization story and continue this good and necessary work.
